At Redwings Matric Hr. Sec. School, we follow a structured and transparent admission process to ensure that deserving students are granted admission based on merit, availability, and eligibility. Below are the details of the admission procedure and the eligibility criteria for various grades:

Admission Procedure:

Issuance of Application Form:

  • The admission process begins with the issuance of the application form, which can be collected from the school office or downloaded from the school’s official website (if available).
  • Parents are required to fill in all the details accurately and submit the completed form within the given deadline.

Submission of Documents:

Along with the application form, parents are required to submit the following documents:

  • Birth certificate of the student (original and photocopy)
  • Previous school’s Transfer Certificate (for students applying to higher grades)
  • Progress report or mark sheet of the previous class attended
  • Address proof of the parents (Aadhar card, voter ID, or utility bill)
  • Passport-sized photographs of the student and parents
  • Community certificate (if applicable)
  • Any relevant medical records (for students with specific health concerns)

Entrance Test/Interview (If Applicable):

  • For certain grades, an entrance test may be conducted to assess the student's academic abilities. The test will typically cover subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Science, appropriate to the grade level.
  • Interviews may be conducted with both the student and parents to understand the student's aptitude, interests, and overall readiness for the academic challenges.

Interaction with the Principal:

  • Selected candidates may be required to meet the Principal for a final round of interaction. This is to ensure that the school and the family share a mutual understanding of the school’s values, expectations, and academic approach.

Admission Confirmation:

  • Once the student clears the entrance test or interview (if applicable), and after reviewing the submitted documents, parents will be informed about the admission decision.
  • Upon confirmation, parents must pay the admission fee and complete other formalities such as submission of the original Transfer Certificate (TC) and signed agreements with the school.

Payment of Fees:

  • Admission is finalized only after the payment of the required admission fees and tuition fees as per the school’s fee structure. This can be done at the school office within the stipulated time.
